アイフェル…ドイツ西北に位置するアイフェル山地の中に、
ニュルブルクリンク・オールド北コースが広がっている。
古いニュルブルクリンク城を取り巻く全長20.8Kmのサーキットは、
かつてはドイツ・グランプリ・レースの舞台として知られていた。
しかし今では、クルマの極限の性能を評価する場所として、
欠かすことのできない存在である。森を縫い山に沿って続くニュルのコースは、
見通しがきかず、コース脇の待避スペースもほとんど設けられていない。
3速、4速フルスロットルの高速カーブが続くかと思えば、丘を5速全開で
駆け下り、一瞬たりともドライバーへのプレッシャーが緩む時間はなく、
エンジンは極限まで回り続け、サスペンションはフルストロークする。
路面は摩擦の低いアスファルト舗装で、変わりやすい天候や落ち葉のため
ますます滑りやすくなっている。
こうしたニュルブルクリンクでの試練を通過したクルマだけが、
歴史に名をとどめる資格を持っているのだ。
われわれ、PROVAが目指したのは、官能的なドライビング・
フィールを楽しみつつ、このニュルブルクリンク・サーキットを
走り抜くことのできるポテンシャルの実現である。
そのためにあらゆる妥協を排除し、最高の性能と品質を追求するために
日本で最長のニュルブルクリンクの走りの経験を持つ清水和夫、
スバル車を熟知した吉田寿博をはじめとした
プロフェッショナルなドライバーたちが徹底的に熟成する。
このようなプロセスを経て、われわれは新たな高性能スポーツ・
パーツを開発、それにEIFELという新しい名称を与えることにした。

Our concept of Nurburgring
There is a famous racing circuit in Eifel mountainous district,
northwest of Germany.The name of circuit is Nurburgring.
This course was wellknown as a stage of German Grand-Prix.
The course length is 12. 84miles(20.8Km), which around the
old Nurberg catsle. And that course is wellknown as a final proving
stage for vehicle dynamics in this period.
The course layout of Nurburgring is very risky.
The course is extending pass throug woods, along sides mountains,
and the escape area is very narrow. Many blind curves must challenge
at 3rd gear or 4th gear by flat throttle. On one hand, long down hill is
5th gear of flat out, and you will experience car flights at several points.
The psychological pressure is very strong for driving,
the suspension of cars bouncing at full stroke, engines run
in revolution limits.The course surface is sliply by fallen leaves or
changeable weather.The vehicles which ferformances proved in
Nurburgring can acquire the qualification as a recorded
cars in history. Feel sensual pleasure in Nurburgring drive.
This is our concept for new EIFEL brand.
For this concept, we exclude any compromise and pursue ultimate
performanceand quality. Our chief driver for evaluating of vehiecle
dynamics is Kazuo Shimizu who is a most experienced Nurburgring
driver in Japan. And then our EIFEL will be coming!
